Monthly Test Day!

An Easy day for me, but not so much for them, is a monthly test day.

I mostly just distribute the test and answer the odd question. The questions I most often receive are things like:

"'similar' is what?"

"the same"

"oh! okay"


"'college' is what?"

"that's a vocabulary word, you need to know that"

*long hopeful stare that I will tell them anyways*


"'Mark' is what?"

"A name"

"..."

"From the story we read"

"...ahhhh!"


"How many sentences?"

"Well the other class wrote ten, and you are older, so I'm hoping you can do more than ten."

*look of fierce determination*


I think one of my students actually got perfect. What a day!
