I love teaching debate. It's probably tied with social studies for my favourite subject to teach.
It's a bit weird with the highschool students in the evening because for a whole bunch of weird reason we only have one student in each class. Debate really doesn't work with one person. The textbook is actually looking for at least six, so...
And no, that whole argue against the teacher thing is a disaster.
We're just going through building arguments so it doesn't matter yet, but until we get a proper class together we can't really have a debate.
